Hello, I’m Jade, an experienced travel writer, travel photographer and travel blogger based in Wales. You’ll normally find me at heritage sites or deep within the countryside with my camera; but when I’m stuck indoors, I’m writing!
As a travel writer and travel blogger, I’ve worked with many travel websites, publications, and blogs.
I specialise in writing UK-based destination guides, and heritage and culture articles, along with exploring lesser-known, and hidden gems across the globe.
I also give advice on how to achieve affordable luxury travel trips – like staying in a 5* resort in Mauritius or embarking on a luxury cruise down the River Nile – without breaking the bank!
I’ve been a travel photographer for about five years now – although my obsession with photography began a long time ago when I was a child travelling to different countries with my parents.
Today, this passion still hasn’t left me, and I’m often found chasing the remotest parts of the world, lying on the floor of castles, rushing after legends and capturing beautiful local characters.
My favourite things to photograph are off-the-beaten-path places, historic buildings, and monuments, sweeping landscapes and magnificent sunrise and sunset!
I also love twee cottages and romantic villages. I’ve been all over the British Isle in search of these, from the renowned Cotswolds to the quaint – and unheard of – village of Askham. I adore going to exotic and exciting places like Mauritius, Turkey, and Egypt.
My photography and writing have been published by Bradt Guides, Coast Magazine, Wales Online, Luxury Lifestyle Magazine, West Wales Life Magazine and many more.
My photography has also been featured in Travel Buddy Games’ upcoming Backpacking Through Europe card game and published by the Milford Waterfront tourism board and by Discover Carmarthenshire tourism board.
